Wednesday, July 30, 20251224CENTRAL: Arrest - CCW / EF Poss. of Firearm / PCS / O&R with Deadly Weapon@400 block North Virginia StreetOfficers responded to a report of a disturbance and attempted to make contact with the suspect who was walking away. The suspect disregarded their orders and then attempted to flee when they made contact. As Officers were taking the suspect into custody they discovered he was in possession of a firearm. Kevin Tran, DOB 7/5/1995, was arrested on the above charges.

1822SOUTH: Arrest - BDW, Hatchet / O&R@4000 block Boca WayThe suspect and victim were involved in an argument that turned physical when the suspect armed himself with a hatchet and attempted to strike the victim. When Officers attempted to make contact with the suspect he made threats and refused to exit the residence. James McGowan, DOB 6/24/1983, was arrested on the above charges.

The suspect then kicked an officer. Frederick Hornblower, DOB 7/11/1971, was arrested on the above charges.

Friday, August 1, 20250119NORTH: Arrest - Att Burg, Child Abuse, Agg Stalking, O&R@3000 Block Leadership PkwyOfficers responded on a report of a male banging on the doors and windows demanding to be let inside. On arrival Officers located the suspect who was intoxicated and bleeding from the head in the enclosed patio of the victim’s apartment. In an act of self defense the suspect was hit in the head with a rock. Suspect was transported to the hospital for medical clearance and then taken to jail. Daniel Mena-Robles, DOB 11/27/1997 was arrested on the above charges.

While investigating the crash, an uninvolved electric bicyclist approached the scene. The bicyclist failed to obey RFD directing traffic, moved into oncoming traffic and nearly caused a collision. Tidwell Laquez, DOB 11/24/2004 was arrested on the above charges.

0830SOUTH: Arrest - Child abuse/neglect@1000 Block South Meadows ParkwayOfficers responded on a report of a 9 year old juvenile locked out of her apartment. No parents were present, and a witness brought the child to the main office when police were called. The child was left with no phone, money, or way to get back into the residence.

Once on scene Officers located a male actively bleeding and arguing with a female. Officers contacted the male who refused to follow verbal commands, the male also spit on the woman.
Officers began to detain the male who began to physically resist, kicking an officer in the knee. Isaac Brewor, DOB 4/18/71 was arrested on the above charges.

2307SOUTH: Arrest - Kidnapping/ADW/Child Endangerment@400 Block Smithridge ParkOfficers responded on the report of a juvenile calling advising her father was threatening to kill himself with her mother also in the room gasping for air, along with 3 small children. The RP also advised earlier today her mother and father left, and when they returned her mother told her the male had pointed a gun at her head. Officers responded and detained the male in the master bedroom, with a gun next to him in the bed, along with the mother and 3 children in the room. Walter Gomez-Lemus, DOB 7/10/1989 was arrested on the above charges.
